Snug and Grub Catch a Bug!
Snug and Grub catch a Bug! is a funny and inventive puppet show by Garlic Theatre following Snug and Grub who live safely underground in their earthy heap.
One day they pop out from under a rock to see some googly eyes peering through the leaves of their special bean plant. What on earth is it and who can catch it first? But beware, something is hovering in the blue sky ready to swoop down… a wonderfully wiggly adventure for all the family.
Join Garlic Theatre for this bug-tastic adventure, with clowning, a beautifully crafted set, colourful puppets and foot tapping music.
A spokesperson for Birdhouse said: “We’ve been working once again to bring local children and families an engaging and fun programme with more to be announced very shortly for February half term.
Children aged 5+ can now also achieve a ‘Discover Arts Award’ by participating in Birdhouse activity, starting on 10 Feb with the theatre show.
The organisation will have Arts Award Discover booklets for youngsters to pick up, which they can use to achieve the Award.
All tickets for the show are low cost at £5 (adult / child). Friends and family tickets are available at £18 (2 adults and up to 3 children). Limited spaces available.
“Mark Pitman is an effortless performer who brings an imaginary world alive through wonderful mime and clowning.”
